O_O Ghosts?
Mar. 26th, 2009 12:15 pmSo, on Tuesday morning I was here alone. I was getting out of the shower when the doorbell rang, and I was like "OMG!" because I thought it might be one of my friends. I ran into my room and shut the door lightly behind me so I could get dressed. As I was dressing, I heard someone laughing right outside my bedroom door. It was playful laughter and sounded female, so I figured it was my mom since someone had rang the doorbell (she does that sometimes when she wants in so I'll let her in and she doesn't have to dig out her keys. If I don't come to the door after a few minutes, she lets herself in, which in this case I assumed had happened because I was taking a while). I figured, since she was laughing, that she was going to open my door and say "BOO!" to scare me. I dressed quickly so I could beat her to it, and I burst out through my bedroom door like "AHA!". The instant the door opened, the laughter stopped. But there was no one there. I looked all through the house. Both cars were gone from the driveway, the house was empty, and all the doors were locked x_x I was so freaked out by that!
Also, later that day I heard a voice (gender indistinguishable) muttering when I was making Hot Pockets, and today when I was plucking my eyebrows (and crying because I was doing a bunch at once XD), I heard a very rhythmic "tap, tap, tap" on the bathroom window, like someone keeping the beat like we had to in choir (be our own metronome and such). I opened the curtain after a few minutes, and yet again the sound stopped the second I looked. I'm not really sure whether they were just someone in my family's, but there were fingerprints on the window.
It's really cool that all this was happening, but it's kind of freaking me out. I was watching Paranormal State, and I was like "What if something like THAT happens!?" It was the episode where that goat-headed man visited that woman's sister and said he would help her, and a few days later she walked into the river and drowned. Her suicide note said that her body was in enormous pain, but in the autopsy the coroner could find absolutely nothing that could have been causing it DX That shit was SCARY.
But anyway, I guess there's nothing to worry about. I hear people say "HI!" all the time when I'm home alone, and I hear silly, playful things and cheerful laughter. I think all the spirits in our house are friendly... which is weird because it used to be a crack house. But anyway, I hope someday I can bond with some of them somehow. It must be lonely in the afterlife.
