Grandma! 8D
May. 4th, 2009 11:31 amSo, guess what? My grandma on my mom's side came to visit! I was just thinking about how much I missed her! <3 My great grandma (her mom) had a stroke, and so she came up to see her. My great grandma is fine and more feisty than ever after her stroke. She threw her purse at one of the nurses and yelled "shit!" when she was in the hospital after her stroke. XD I'm glad she's okay, and I'm also glad that my grandma is here! It's so good to see her!
On Saturday my grandma came over to our house and we talked for like three hours. It was fun. She's the kind of person who makes you feel comfortable, plus she's kinda crazy and says "totally" a lot <3 She also drives a sports car even though she's 60 and plays pranks on people when she goes shopping.
Yesterday we went to the mall with her, and she slipped two 50 dollar bills into each of our purses O.O I was like "no, grandma!" and she was like "Phhhh, I haven't seen you in years. You need to BUY something!". Jeez, it was nice of her XD I bought myself a fuzzy pink trenchcoat and a Cobra Starship hoodie, plus some random bracelets. I only spent $30, but she made me keep the rest of the money. *is overwhelmed* So nice of her!
So anyway, it's so fun having her here! :3 We always end up doing crazy things, and it's such a good time. It takes my mind off of not being to find a job and feeling like a bum because I still live at home (a side effect of not being able to find a job). This freaking economy! But anyway, I'm having so much fun hanging out with her. We're going to take her out for lunch for Mother's Day/thank you before she leaves, but I wish she never had to. <3
